Welcome to the Dig That Dog Blog.  I'll be documenting some of the training I'm currently attending as well as all things dog related.  For starters, I'm currently a member of American Pet Dog Training and am awaiting two upcoming courses through the Canine Behavior Academy and Michael Ellis' School of Dog Training.  My goal is to develop a dog training business that bolsters communication between owner and pet.  My belief is that fostering two way understanding will develop a stronger bond, allowing the owner to understand what the dog  feels and needs and balance that with what the owner wants out of their owner/pet relationship. By defining how the dog fits into the owners life, I believe there is a way to strengthen and develop a more positive relationship.  More to come soon!
